Biography

Adelaide Cristina de Oliveira Favilla de Mendonça, partner at Medina Osório Advogados in the Brasília office, is a lawyer who graduated from the University of Uberaba (1998) with a postgraduate degree in Shared Management and Human Values from the same institution and a Master in Public Administration (MPA) in Public Policies, Management, and Control of Administration from the Instituto Brasiliense de Direito Público (IDP). Currently, she is a partner at Medina Osório Advogados in our Brasília (DF) office.

She worked for 19 years in the Federal Public Administration, where she started as a UNESCO Consultant on a project for the Ministry of Health.

After this period, she worked at the Ministry of Transport, advising on the supervision and coordination of the main activities and linked entities (DNIT / VALEC / EPL / RFFSA / ANTT / ANTAQ), where she actively participated in projects aimed at implementing national transport infrastructure and logistics, including road and rail concessions, permissions, and authorizations, as well as advising on the management of the ministerial department, including articulation with internal and external control bodies.

She also held the position of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Companhia Docas do Rio Grande do Norte (CODERN), responsible for the administration of the Port of Natal and Maceió and the Areia Branca Salt Terminal, and was Chairwoman of the Fiscal Council of the Empresa de Planejamento e Logística (EPL).

In recent years, she has been part of the EPL professional team, having the opportunity to work on projects focused on planning logistics infrastructure, as well as strongly contributing to corporate management advice, enhancing governance mechanisms with value attributes such as "Agility, Transparency, Sustainability, Innovation, Credibility, and People."

She has participated in various training courses, particularly related to Bidding and Contracts, Public-Private Partnerships, Corporate Governance, Compliance, Interpersonal Skills, and Project Management.
